In this section let’s go through what it takes to create an email template:
- To get started with a new email template, navigate to [Template] and select [Email]
- From here click on click [Create] to generate a new email template
- Now you will see two options displayed. The first one is the constructor, here you’ll be able to compose your email template by putting difference pieces together, think of it like assembling lego, and therefore few limits to what you can actually put together! This option is well suited for users who aren’t very familiar with either css or html or even both! But do not be discouraged, there’s still an option to style using html if you feel like it. On the other hand, if you decide to take your template making to the next level, right away, we highly encourage you to use the [Code Editor] instead.
- If you decide to create objects using the constructor editor, you will be able to drag and drop different preconfigured elements to your screen
- If you would like to see how the email displays on different devices, choose between the mobile and the desktop version in the bottom left corner of the display
- Once you are done customizing your email please choose an Sender to use for sending the emails. Under the Receiver tab, you can specify attributes of the receiver’s email to include, based from the options available under the dropdown menu. Lastly, you can optionally provide a subject for your email.
- BBC or Blind Carbon Copy field allows for sending copies that you do not want other recipients to see but only the one that has been specified.
- Finally Click [Save] to apply the save the email template. If the template creation was successful, you’ll see you a pop-up informing that the template was created and the new template will be available for use.
